Calling all DIY-ers! If you remember my previous post on the Project DIY subscription box, December's box is even more amazing! Themed, Baroque n'Roll, it's all about the gold & black, lace and embellishments! This month's box had 3 beautiful projects- perfect for the sophisticated party/gala. It costs $30/month but includes a FREE starter kit (which is already valued at $20). I'm excited to see what is in next month's box already, as I love Spring time jewelry.
Project DIY also includes instructions online and on their app, so in case you already have some of these materials, you can use their tips to DIY at-home!

For the holidays, one of my bffs gifted me the FabFitFun box! Not only was I psyched to hear I was getting it (surprise!) but I was incredibly wowed when I received it!
There were already two sneak peeks of the box- TruEnergy ear buds and the Giving Keys necklace. The variety in the box is perfect because theres something for the fitness/beauty/Everyday kind of gal!
Fitness-focused:
- TruEnergy ear buds- snug in my ears, will be using these for my workouts and even in the office.
- Physique57- 5 online workouts for FREE! Already have one of their workouts, I can't wait to explore more!
Beauty-focused: (there's a lot and they're all good!)
- Beauty For Real lipgloss
- NYX eyeshadow
- Simple Skincare Foaming Cleanser face wash
- Skyn Iceland Eye cream - say goodbye to those bags!
Everyday:
-Giving Keys necklace- mine was inspire. The keys are meant to be given away when you feel someone else will need to be "inspired". Sharing is caring!
-MeUndies- $20 credit to try a pair of their undies or other basics! I have my eye on a comfy tee and socks!
- Lorna Jane Bracelet- bright neon pink, it'll be sure to brighten your day! Not your fave color? Try it out when wearing a black ensemble to make your outfit pop!
I'm excited with all the fun things to use in this box and can't wait to see what will be in the next edition! It's a box that comes with each season, so will be saving up for the next one!

December Love With Food Box Review
It's a foodie winter wonderland! This month's Love with Food subscription box was a treat -literally 10 of them! Wonderfully packed in its bright red packaging, the box also came with a reusable bag- perfect to hold all my gifts in! This month, subscribers will get to taste the following:

December Intimates Wantables Box
I got the Wantables box this month after a Buy One Get Free Cyber Monday deal. I was excited to see I got a pair of PACT socks, Steve Madden lounge shorts, Coobie soft bra and a pair of undies. Wantable subscriptions are a great way to build your basics and get new fun ones while you're at it. The Lounge shorts are a plus for me as they're cute and super comfortable. Each monthly box costs $36 with a subscription or $40 for a one-time subscription. It makes $$ sense to subscribe for $36 first and if you're not a fan, to unsubscribe the next month.
Look forward to getting my next month's box!! (I tweaked my preferences a bit, so I won't be getting socks/undies.) Get your Wantable box today!
December Ipsy Bag
My December Ipsy bag arrived last week and earlier than I expected! It's been a pretty busy month so the waiting time wasn't as excruciating as last month. Themed "Celebration", this bag included goodies to celebrate the holidays, New Year and all that fun, warm and spirited cheer! The bag is so cute and will definitely be put to good use!

December Birchbox
This month's Holiday Birchbox was bit of a letdown and less holiday-ish than I would've expected.
The sample sizes were small and there wasn't anything in there that made me go WOW. I'm hoping my next box will be a lot better!
Here's what I got:
* Eslor Skincare System- 4 sample packs of the cleasner, cream, scrub and mask.
* Number 4 Hairspray- hair spray to give your hair its hold
* Supergoop! CC Cream- a one-up from regular BB cream, its primer finish helps create a smooth finish. Wish the sample was larger though.
* The Honest Company's Healing Balm- Perfect for hydrating dry skin and protecting.
* Extra: Pretzel from Fatty Sundays- This literally one bite-sized pretzel snack was yummy. Would've loved a larger sample, like the Ghiradelli chocolate last month!

Rock Your Hair! (seriously!)
Want spunky hair? Or just plenty of volume? Try the Rock Your Hair Shampoo and Conditioner to help your hair get some oomph! I've been growing out my hair and although I've had my my locks trimmed, I still feel like my hair needs more volume. Upon using the Big Hair Rocks shampoo and conditioner duo, I've noticed an immediate lift in my roots and couldn't be happier! I've used it several times already and noticed my hair is more moisturized & rocked out. I'm loving the results!
Bonus: It's formulated without Sulfate and Parabens, so none of that yucky stuff!

Bianca Jade's Quarterly #Miz01 box review
It's been a week since my delicious feasts and family time, so it's time to up the ante in my fitness routine! I enjoy at-home DVDs because of its convenience but also love checking out new fitness classes for variety. Last month, I discovered (and quickly ordered) the Quarterly subscription box and was psyched to learn about a fitness/fashion box curated by MizzFit aka Bianca Jade. Themed, Style to Shape Up, is such an incredible motto because what motivates me more than to feel good while working out?
I finally got this box (it's been a long month!) after a 2 week delay in their shipment but was sooo happy to see the sneak peek item (the GYM BAG!!) along with many other workout essentials!
Here's what I got:
- A Pink Yoga Bag from Electric Yoga (valued at $58)
- Fresh Feet wipes (valued at $6)
- Banjees Mesh wristlet pouch (valued at $16.50)
- Words to Sweat By Towel (valued at $11)
- NatureMade VitaMelts Energy tablets (valued at $9)
The Quarterly box is $50 but the entire box was worth more about a $100! I'm pretty much going to use all these products in my lovely new pink gym bag, and I especially like that these items have a purpose to one's fitness journey. This is actually one of the best fitness/healthy themed boxes I have seen with full-sized USEFUL products. I'm not a fan of the healthy boxes that include weird drink mixes/foods that I normally would not eat, so I'm glad I did not see any of that in here. :) I definitely look forward to my next #MizFIt02 box!! Thanks Bianca Jade for curating this amazing box!

The Conscious Collections box from Teens Turning Green
When I first learned about the Teens Turning Green organization and their mission, I was so happy to see the younger generation motivated and taking action to help make their lives more "green." I was also excited to learn about their Conscious Collections box, their project to curate specially selected products that are environmentally friendly and use organic ingredients. Their monthly care package features great beauty, food and lifestyle products for about $50-$75 per box, with each box valuing at $150-$200+. This month's theme, Holidays in Green, has 8 beauty/skincare products, 3 soap products, 7 food/snacks, and 4 lifestyle products. Of course, my favorites are the beauty products and cannot wait to use these facial oils, lotions and spritz! Check out the products here!

2013 EcoEmi Bonus Box
It's the most wonderful time... of the year! Yes- my EcoEmi Bonus Box is here!
It's my yearly treat from EcoEmi, to get their Bonus Box (no longer dubbed small or Large Bonus Box) filled with eco-friendly goodies and treats. It's all a surprise to me since it is a collection of the past products in their 2013 boxes. I was excited to see many more samples of beauty products this year and even some repeats in last year's boxes as a "re-fill"! (They advertise about 25-30 samples, but I see about 40 here!)
If you like what you see, they have a monthly subscription box for $15/month that includes 5-7 items.
See my loot here:
Since this box was so beauty-focused, I'll be highlighting some of my favorite eco-friendly brands in future posts. What a treat to be trying these all and to be adding to my own personal collection. If you like what you see, snag your mystery box pronto! Let them know that BeautyAllThat sent you! I'm a fan! :) http://www.ecoemi.com/join-today/

MJ Trimming's Project DIY box review
MJ Trimming's, a popular NY-based craft shop, has their very own Project DIY subscription box. They kindly sent me their latest box, themed Joan of Arc, to play and review. I'm a fan of all things crafty and was so excited to learn about this new box. I've seen some in the market already but have always gotten beauty and food boxes. So my very first craft box was so much fun! First, the box came with all supplies (& tools!) needed to complete two projects, a cuff bracelet and necklace. What I like about this box is that you're able to make this your very own piece, by adding as much or as little beads as you wish.
The box came with its own tools kit that you can use for all future projects, Ms. DIY-er! (A $20-value is now included in your first box, for a very limited time!) Since how can you really use your Project DIY box without the right tools, right?
Here's a sneak peek of the Joan of Arc goodies... Stay tuned for a future post on my completed pieces!

Element Barre Conditioning DVD Review
Set the barre high! If you're looking for a fun, challenging workout at home besides Pilates/Yoga, I highly recommend trying out barre workouts. The founder of Barre3, Sadie Lincoln, has a new DVD coming out December 3 called, Barre Conditioning. This Element DVD contains 2 programs: Burn & Firm and Lengthen & Strengthen. Both work great together or individually depending on how much time you can carve out during the day. No barre required; just a chair, mat for floor exercises and a towel.
The instructions are added into the video (instructor isn't talking when working out) which is great because I can watch and listen to my other music or watch another TV program, without interrupting my workout. (I like to multi-task when working out) :)
The moves in this DVD are great for toning your upper body, legs and core. With controlled movement, such as pulsing during a plie hold, you'll get to challenge yourself and develop a ballet dancer's body.
Pre-order your copy today on amazon.com today!

BECCA's the One Perfecting Brush review
If you only could carry one brush, it would have to be BECCA's the One Perfecting Brush. Special thanks to iFabbo for letting me review this amazing product. Available at Sephora, this brush can be used for your foundation, highlighter, contouring powder, and blush. It's dense (and wide enough) to replace all your current brushes. Its goat hairs is also soft to the touch and gentle on your face. Like most brushes, it can be used for powders and liquid products. If you use a full makeup routine, I would recommend starting with foundation, then highlighter above the cheeks and on the bridge of your nose, contouring using the narrow part of the brush, under the cheeks, side of nose and around temple and lastly, blush using the corner of the Perfecting Brush.

November Love with Food box review
This month's Love with Food box was PACKED with amazing snacks, themed
"Flavors of Fall" with Chef Ryan Scott. I'm always excited to see what
snacks they pack in here when I read other blogs, but this month I got
to taste these myself! Here are the 9 snacks I happily munched/sipped
on:
This box includes:
1) Tuxedo Popcorn from KuKuRuZa, caramel popcorn with a drizzle of milk and white chocolate.. yum!
2) Green & Black's Organic Dark chocolate
3) Maple Fudge from Laura Secord
4) Ginger Twist tea from Mighty Leaf
5) Eat Natural yoghurt bar
6) Rosemary Seal Salt shortbread from Dancing Deer Baking Co.
7) Sweet Corn Crunch from Sensible Foods
8) Arora Creations' spices
9) Sweet Potato Popchips
I'm so amazed all these goodies fit in their usual red box. I also love that for each box purchased, a meal is donated to a hungry child. Each subscription box is about $10, depending on the plan. Stay tuned on Black Friday for a SPECIAL discount!!
Eco-Emi bonus box!
Eco-Emi is a monthly eco-friendly susbscription service that introduces you to a variety of beauty/bath/food products. I got this box last year and knew I had to get it again. Last year, I got the Large bonus box with all these products. They raised the price by $10 ($30 last year, vs $40 this year) but the amount I got last year was amazing. I'm hoping I get another super duper bonus box overflowing with eco-friendly goodness.
Some products I received are: Yogi tea, Angell chocolate, Calm magnesium powder, Stevia, Burt's Bees towelettes, Crystal deodorant towelettes, Zen society facial cleanser, Green Clay mask, lotion samples, laundry detergent, hand sanitizer, and much, much more!

KnixWear- Comfy Undies for Exercise!
I recently won the #FitFluential giveaway to win 3 pairs of KnixWear. The Canadian-based company offers comfortable undies that are designed to wear everyday (KnixWear) or specifically during your workouts (FixKnix line). They also have lace patterned ones!
I was able to choose three different styles to add to my personal undergarment wardrobe, but also to compare the styles side by side. To give you some background, the KnixWear products use their Fresh Fix Technology which makes these undies incredibly seamless to avoid those unwanted panty lines, as well as moisture wicking and antimicrobial. (Sounds like pretty slick undies, if you ask me.)
The three that I chose were (from left to right) are:
1) Seamless Knix Highrise Brief in Nude color- normally I would not choose Highrise Briefs, but this looks like it would give some nice coverage! You'll notice it is longer compared to the two on the right.
2) Seamless Knix Bikini in Nude color -my go-to choice! This is the perfect fit and super comfortable too. I like the thinner band on my waist as well.
3) FitKnix Boyshorts in Nude color- This snug fit is like a shorter high-rise brief with a thicker waist band (an in between of the highrise and bikini). It is also very comfortable when working out!
Overall, I am so psyched to have discovered this new brand of underwear. Thank you FitFluential & KnixWear! These undie's comfort level are superb as I've used them with my new fitness DVDs this week (reviews coming soon!!). They are an investment though, roughly $30 a pair, so taking care of them is extremely important! (Tip: Use a separate mesh bag and wash gently with mild detergent.)

October Love With Food Box
They kindly gave me the October box to review. I had seen reviews of this last month and had wished I got it. So many goodies and treats in a single box! The Pizzelle Crisps were thin crispy waffle chips that I ate right away. The dang coconut chips were also quite tasty, since I love coconut! The Happy Squeeze Fruit & Veggie twist will be saved for later day. I've also packed the Glee Gum, Caveman Cookies and Kind bar in my purse to bring to work.

FRAAS dressier scarving for the Holidays
Dress up your holiday look and stay warm! This season, FRAAS' newest collection of scarves contains metallic yarns to help give it the extra edge. The 12x80 scarf featured here is the Metallic Zebra style. Half black and half zebra, this subtle pattern is just right to style your look. It comes in two other colors as well- Silver and Gold. I prefer black as it looks great with everything and all year, but Silver and Gold are also great holiday choices.
Want to add this to your wardrobe? You can order FRAAS products by checking out fraas.com and amazon.com or calling 212-575-0191 and requesting style #: 360528.

Quarterly.co Subscription Box with MizzFit aka Bianca Jade!
In my quest to find a GOOD subscription box to check out, I came across Quarterly.co which features many contributor's boxes, with various themes and surprises. I was looking for a non-makeup and non-food box as I have already sought these out and just wanted something different! When I saw a fitness fashion box, curated by MizzFit, I knew I had to get my hands on it! These quarterly boxes (really wish they were monthly as I can't wait 3 months!!) curated by https://quarterly.co/products/mizzfit will have anything and everything that is a part of her philosophy Styling Up 2 Shape Up. Her first box is themed, "Pack your Gym Bag" which sounds amazing! I'm also excited about her second box, "Get inspired to sweat" which sounds like it will include her favorite workouts!

November Ipsy - Bonus Item!
My November Ipsy bag (aka Glam Bag) will have 6 items this month! I've only gotten two Ipsy bags so far and love the variety of makeup goodies. The 6th item this month will include a product from the new em michelle phan collection. We got a one-time sample of the eyeshadow/blush colors in the September bag so cannot wait to get a full-sized sample of this line. I'm hoping to get one of the lipsticks or lip balms!

Birchbox Plus- An Extra Jewelry Item
I got an email to upgrade my current Birchbox to Birchbox Plus! For an additional $20, I can get a necklace (worth $30). I love the idea of Birchbox expanding, however, with all the different accessories boxes out there, $20 for an extra necklace might not be worth it. (Think BaubleBar/JewelMint, etc) If it was for an extra $7-8, I would consider it. For Birchbox members, they should definitely be giving us a perk!
I still can't wait to get my November Birchbox though! :)
What are your thoughts on Birchbox Plus?

(Photo Credit: HauteLook.com Fall Beauty Bag) |
HauteLook.com's Fall Beauty Bag is coming out on Monday, October 28 (11 AM EST/ 8 AM PST)! According to their site, it's an "exclusive 12-piece set features complexion-boosting skincare, pigment-packed makeup favorites and more luxe goodies."
From what I can see from the picture, I spy the following brands: NYX, Blow Pro, Clarins, China Glaze, and a kabuki brush! The faux quilted blue bag is also cute too. If the price is at $15-20, it's a steal!

KlutchClub Beauty Box for Loyalty Members!
The KlutchClub monthly subscription box debuted last April and I've followed their boxes ever since! They offer quality health and fitness products to help with your own personal fitness routine, diet and/or lifestyle. I believe I had entered some surveys to earn points and I finally redeemed it for a Beauty Box. They offered a few others I was interested in, such as Snacks & Teas and a Bar Box, but decided I would get the Beauty Box, of course! The picture on the redemption site was rather small and fuzzy so I could only make out a few of the items I would get. I did notice that I got a few replacement items, but it doesn't matter.. this box is AMAZING!
See what I got here...
Nature's Gate Body wash samples in Papaya - their body washes are gentle
100% Pure Nourishing Body Cream in Grape- (already used a packet which is why 2 is shown)- Amazing scent
* Lauren Brooke Cosmetique lip gloss sample- smells yummy and it's so moisturizing. Don't expect to get this color though, it's very sheer.
* Devita eyeliner
* Crystal Body Deodorant Towelettes- natural deodorant w/o aluminum !

Eclos HydraPrimer SPF 30- using their cleanser already and this is a great addition to my current skincare.
More goodies below, including: c.Booth's bath/shower/hair wash in rosemary Mint, Tree Hut's Shea Sugar Body Scrub, Giovanni conditioner (where's the shampoo?) and Kirk's Castile soap (which I'm currently using).
I got thirsty and already drank my Seksi Pomegranate drink.. this fizzy drink quenched my thirst. I normally wouldn't get this, as I'm usually a tea, water or plain ol' juice kind of gal, but this was good.

October Ipsy bag Reveal
My "Beauty of Art" inspired Ipsy bag came in this week and I'm excited (again!) Getting two beauty subscription services a month is double the fun and double the trouble. I get to try new and use old favorites which is why I love getting these monthly subscription services.
My Ipsy bag came a few days after my Birchbox and was pleasantly surprised to see my contents. Again, no sample packets here and came in a cute simple white makeup bag.
Here's what I got:
* SexyHair's Blow Dry Volumizing Gel- this is great to get that extra oomph after you blow dry your hair.
* Zoya Nailpolish- dark mysterious blue is great for the this season
* Starlooks lip pencil- it's a tad bit bright coral/pink for me, but it could be fun
* Nourish Organic lotion- (Coconut & Argan) it's not as creamy as I usually prefer my body lotions but it's good for hands. The scent is also nice too.
* Ole Henriksen- Truth serum collagen booster- is an oldie but a goodie for me! I first tried a sample from Sephora and loved it, so glad I could add it back to my routine again.
Although last month's bag was more makeup products, I'm definitely happy with the variety I got here. I'm always looking for fun colors, and skincare products to use. I'm already looking forward to getting next month's bag!

Own Refining Moisture Night Cream Review
Through the iFabbo Shop, I was able to try out another amazing Own product- Own Refining Moisture Night Cream! This is a cream I have reserved to use in the Fall, as it is a bit more thicker than I would normally use for my summer routine. Now that it's getting a bit cooler, my skin has been reaping the moisturizing effects this has. I wake up with younger looking skin, aka more hydrated and sometimes a bit more oilier than I would like, but nonetheless, this night cream is a great deal.
Available at Ulta stores and online at http://bit.ly/VXs0FI , the night cream is perfect if you're looking for hydrated skin. Its formula is easily absorbed into your skin so you can use about a quarter-sized amount nightly to get your refined, moisturized skin!
